This unique pharmabiotic productfood supplement is produced from yeast cells treated with electromagnetic millimetreer waves and is protected by patent application SE 2450665-1. (Yeast for promoting Longevity and/or Antiaging). The yeast cells are from the yeast strain Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which . Saccharomyces cerevisiae is the most common species of yeast and has been used since time immemorial, both for baking and brewing.
AgeViva is classified as a food supplement and is marketed according to the laws of the Swedish Food Agency according to EU Directive 2002/46 on food supplements.
AgeViva yeast is produced in Sweden by the Orkla Group, the largest yeast producer in Sweden.
AgeVivaTM is registered in several European countries and during 2025 sales will be initiated in Germany, Austria, France, Italy and the UK.

Prior to launching in the USA we have completed a GRAS dossier, which is demanded by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) which pertains both for Dietary Supplements and and an eventual future therapeutic drug application. GRAS stands for “Generally Recognised as Safe”.
Longevience AB is a Swedish subsidiary of Milmed Unico AB and is responsible for the sale of AgeViva. The company's research mainly takes place in close collaboration with Sapienza University in Rome. Since 2016, Professor Trevor Archer has been leading the research together with Professor Rita Businaro, responsible for the Department of Medico-Surgical Sciences and Biotechnologies in Sapienza.
Studies and Documentation
Over 1,500 people have used Milmed/AgeViva for more than 10 years, even though we have not had active sales. Many have used the product in our human studies. Scientific articles based on these studies have been published, see clinical studies. In all our published articles, our product is called Milmed. When we market our product, we use our longevity brand AgeViva™.
The efficacy and safety of Milmed/AgeViva have been followed in proof-of-concept studies. In several of the studies, one group of volunteers received Milmed/AgeViva and the other group received a placebo. The results show that everyone who received Milmed/AgeViva noted a significant effect.. In the placebo group, two people felt a very small effect, while the remaining people noted no effect at all.
A number of toxicity studies have been carried out on Milmed/AgeViva which confirm the product's safety, studies carried out under the direction of Professor Rita Businaro.
